UAE opens a new bridge for pedestrians, cyclists
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced the completion of a 475-metre bridge for pedestrians and cyclists crossing over Ras Al Khor Road (Dubai-Hatta).
The bridge links International City and Al Warqaa and eases the mobility of pedestrians between the two sides of the Ras Al Khor Road.
The bridge has a width of 5 metres – 3 metres for bikers and 2 metres for pedestrians. It is fitted with rails between the lanes and on both sides.
The RTA has set a speed limit of 30k.
