The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that 80,683 people have got a coronavirus vaccine over the last 24 hours, bringing to 1,167,251 the total number of shots taken so far across the nation.
The campaign recorded a distribution rate of 11.8 doses per 100 people, which is just second behind Israel globally.
This initiative is in line with UAE’s plan to vaccinate more than 50 per cent of the country’s population.
