UAE records over 1,700 new coronavirus cases
The United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Health and Prevention confirmed 1,723 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, state news agency WAM reported.
The new cases were detected after the ministry conducted 150,244 COVID-19 tests in the past 24 hours and increased the total of infected people since the start of the pandemic to 206,092, the agency added.
The ministry has also confirmed 1,607 more recoveries and three additional fatalities, increasing the total number of recovered patients to 183,007 and the death toll to 665.
