UAE registers 1,590 coronavirus cases; 5 deaths
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, reported 1,590 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases after conducting more than 125,232 tests over the last 24 hours, raising the total caseload to 213,231.
In a statement carried by the UAE News Agency (WAM), the ministry said that 5 infected patients had passed away due to COVID-19 health complications, raising the death toll to 679.
It also announced that an additional 1,609 infected patients had recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 189,709.
