The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) today conducted an inspection campaign on a number of expatriate employees gathering places in the Northern Governorate.
The campaign resulted in the arrest of a number of violators who were found in breach of the LMRA provisions and the Residence Law in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
LMRA said that deportation procedures were taken against the lawbreakers in accordance with the legal provisions and regulations
It announced that it would conduct weekly inspection campaigns to clampdown down on violations that would affect the justice, flexibility, and competitiveness of the labour market.
