UAE reports 283 new coronavirus cases, 2 deaths
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Saturday reported 283 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 98 recoveries. Two deaths were also reported.
According to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHaP), the latest coronavirus patients, all of whom are in a stable condition and receiving the necessary care, were identified after conducting more than 77,600 additional COVID-19 tests among UAE citizens and residents over the past few days, the ministry said.
The total number of cases confirmed in the country now stands at 64,102 while total recoveries have reached 57,571. Meanwhile, two more patients have died from the virus, bringing the total death toll to 361.
There are now 6,170 active cases of COVID-19 across the UAE.
