UAE reports 3,579 and 4,166 coronavirus recoveries
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Sunday reported 3,579 cases of Covid-19, along with 4,166 recoveries.
Nine deaths were also reported.
The new cases were detected through additional 179,117 tests.
More than 24.5 million tests have been carried out across the country so far.
The total number of cases in UAE as on January 24 stand at 277,955 while total recoveries are 251,484. Death toll rises to 792.
On Friday evening, Dubai announced new Covid-19 safety rules to curb the virus spread – tightening rules for gatherings, at eateries and fitness centres.
