Bahrain Weather to Be Windy, Cool Next Week

An official source from the Metrological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications stated that Bahrain will be affected by generally light to moderate-speed southerly winds on Sunday and Monday, adding that the weather will be warm during the day and relatively cold overnight.

The same source added that winds will become northwesterly later on Monday, with mainly moderate speed, which will increase starting Tuesday, which will contribute to a significant drop in temperatures. As a result, the weather will be generally cool, especially overnight and early in the morning, with sporadic clouds.

The wind gusts will be accompanied by rising sand in open areas and rising sea waves, the same source added, calling for avoiding marine activities.

The Meteorological Directorate’s official also indicated that the strong winds will continue until Friday, January 19, and that their speed will gradually decrease during the day on Saturday, urging caution and calling for the need to follow the official bulletins and warnings issued by the Meteorological Directorate.
