The Municipality of Masfoot has shut down 16 food establishments for failure to comply with the Covid-19 health and public safety conditions.
The inspection and control unit issued 979 warnings and fined 129 food establishments operating in Masfoot city.
Efforts will be intensified ahead and during the month of Ramadan, Saif Ghadeer Al Ketbi, Director of Masfout Municipality said.
