The Sharjah Economic Development Department has shut down a popular hypermarket for violating Covid-19 safety measures.
The hypermarket along with a salon were shut as they were crowded and accommodated more than the permissible capacity by the authorities. There was also no social distancing between patrons.
The SEDD called on residents to report Covid violations to 80080000 or by visiting the consumer protection website.
