UAE to close down a customer service centre permanently
The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority has announced the closure of its customer care centre at Dragon Mart 2 from next month.
The utility services provider said its Future Customer Happiness Centre will be closed permanently in line with its efforts to promote smart services.
It is the first government organisation to allow transactions using smart devices. Customers can also communicate with DEWA staff via video calls.
Dewa’s virtual employee Rammas, responds to customers’ written and audible enquiries in Arabic and English.
