UAE to introduce fee for single-use plastic bags from July 1
Dubai will introduce a fee of 25 fils for single-use plastic bags starting from July 1.
The move is in line with enhancing environmental sustainability and encouraging individuals to reduce the excessive use of plastics.
The policy will be implemented across all stores in the emirate, including online and e-commerce deliveries.
