The UAE will see a spectrum of weather conditions this week, including extreme heat, rain, fog, humidity and winds of up to 40kmph blowing dust, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.

NCM forecasters have pointed towards the chance of rain at  the weekend and seasonal humidity in the UAE throughout the week.

While the weekend is the likeliest time for rain in the UAE, it could also see fog and mist formation as well as moderate winds blowing dust, said the National Centre of Meteorology.

Thursday, June 27: Fair to partly cloudy at times. Low clouds will appear over the East Coast. Humid by night and Friday morning with a probability of mist formation over some areas especially coastal. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust with a speed of 10–25kmph reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate at times in Oman Sea.

Friday, June 28: Fair to partly cloudy at times. Low clouds will appear over the East coast, with a chance of convective clouds formation Eastward by afternoon, might be accompanied by rainfall. With another decrease in temperatures especially Eastward. Humid by night and Saturday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust with a speed of 10–25kmph reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Saturday, June 29: Fair to partly cloudy at times. Low clouds will appear over the East coast by morning, with a chance of convective clouds formation Eastward and Southward by afternoon associated with rainfall. Humid by night and Sunday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some areas especially coastal areas. Light to moderate Northeasterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust with a speed of 10–25kmph reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
