UAE weather authorities have revealed forecasts for the rest of the week and the start of the Eid Al Adha holidays.
While conditions are expected to be fair and partly cloudy from Thursday to Saturday, Sunday – the first day of Eid Al Adha in the UAE – could see connective clouds and the chance of rainfall, according to the National Centre of Meteorology.
It said Sunday, June 16 will have a chance of convective cloud formation over some Northern and eastern areas of the UAE, and extending to some internal areas might be associated with rainfall.

Thursday, June 13: Fair in general and partly cloudy at times. Light to moderate Southwesterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35kmph. The sea will be slight to moderate at times Northward in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.
Friday, June 14: Fair in general and partly cloudy at times and low clouds will appear over the East Coast by Saturday morning. Light to moderate Southwesterly to Northwesterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate at times in Oman Sea.
Saturday, June 15: Fair in general and partly cloudy at times and low clouds will appear over East Coast by Sunday morning. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 20 reaching 35 kmph. The sea will be slight to moderate at times in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
Sunday, June 16: Fair in general and partly cloudy at times, with a chance of convective cloud formation over some Northern and eastern, and extending to some internal areas might be associated with rainfall. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds, freshening at times causing blowing dust during daytime, with a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40kmph. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
