India: Two Gulf Repatriates Test Positive for COVID-19

Two people who travelled home to Kerala, India from the Gulf have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

Kerala, a southern state in India has the highest number of repatriation flights from the Gulf in India’s week 1 repatriation plan. Around 15 of such flights are flying to Kerala.

While one of the infected people is being treated in Kozhikode, the other is receiving treatment in Kochi.

So far 505 people have been confirmed positive for COVID-19 in the Indian state, of which 485 have recovered and 3 have succumbed to the infection.
