The Meteorological Directorate of the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications announced that, according to updated weather models, Bahrain is expected to experience unstable weather conditions from midweek. The weather system is forecast to begin on Tuesday, March 4, bringing scattered rainfall at intervals until Sunday, March 9.

An official for the directorate said that some thunderstorms may develop at times as the low-pressure system approaches, particularly from Thursday, March 6. These conditions may be accompanied by strong winds and high waves.
