A forged import permit, unknowingly submitted by a veterinary doctor, triggered a legal battle that ended in his acquittal after the court ruled he had no way of knowing the document was fraudulent.
A criminal court cleared the vet of charges linked to providing false information about a veterinary product to the authorities.
The case began when he applied for a licence to export the product abroad at the request of the pharmacy’s manager.
