WHO issues new clinical advice on COVID-19 treatment
The World Health Organization (WHO) on Tuesday issued new clinical advice for treating COVID-19 patients, including those displaying persistent symptoms after recovery, it advised using low-dose anticoagulants to prevent blood clots.
The WHO advised clinicians to put patients into the awake prone position, on their front, shown to improve oxygen flow, WHO spokeswoman Margaret Harris said.
