We are always in the best efforts to ensure the provision of sustainable health services.” Dr Jaleela also hailed the special attention given to the health sector by His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince. In a visualised address, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, appreciated Bahrain’s leadership led by His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince for the attention given to the health sector.

For his part, Dr Ahmed Al Mandhari, praised the high-level cooperation between the health sectors in Bahrain and the World Health Organisation in responding to the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19), expressing his appreciation for the coordinated and effective efforts he witnessed during his visit.

He added that the Kingdom of Bahrain has proven, through its flexible response to the virus, that it has a developed health sector. Noting that the presence of the WHO country office on the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain supported the preparation of a detailed report on the operational strategy of the Kingdom of Bahrain in containing the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19).
