Oman: Drug Smuggling Attempt Foiled by Police

Four people were arrested while trying to smuggle about 100 kilogrammes of drugs to the Sultanate of Oman.

The Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: “The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, arrested four people of Asian nationality while trying to smuggle 50 kilograms of crystal meth and 49 kilograms of hashish, and completed legal procedures.”
