UAE records 1,490 new coronavirus cases and 2 deaths

The Ministry of Health and Prevention reported 1,490 COVID-19 after conducting 241,630 additional tests over the past 24 hours, bringing the caseload in the UAE to 552,920.   

‏The ministry said that 2 virus-infected patients had passed away, raising the overall death toll to  1,644since the outbreak of the pandemic in the UAE.   

It announced that 1,451 infected people had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 532,910.
