Out of 21648 COVID-19 tests carried out on 1 January 2022, 615 new cases have been detected among 167 expatriate workers, 343 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 105 are travel related. There were 156 recoveries from COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 277501.
There is currently 1 COVID19 case in a critical condition, and presently no individuals are receiving treatment. 3781 are stable out of a total of 3782 active cases.
