Bahrain: 2 restaurants closed for violating COVID health protocols

Two restaurants in the Capital Governorate have been shut down on December 24 for violating the mandatory precautionary measures for combating the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) after Bahrain moved to the yellow level.

This came during an inspection campaign conducted in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, where inspectors visited a total of 193 restaurants and cafes and took required measures against 17 outlets prior to referring them to competent legal authorities for flouting health protocols.
