Saudi: 24 new COVID cases and 27 recoveries

Saudi Arabia’s new coronavirus cases fell below 30-mark with 24 reported on Thursday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health.

2 people have died due to complications caused by the virus over the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 549,810 and the virus-related fatalities to 8,839.

A total of 27 people recovered over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 538,966. Among the active cases, 42 of them were in critical condition.
