Riyadh Boulevard City Closed After Record-Breaking Attendance on Friday
Turki Al Sheikh, head of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA), announced the closure of Riyadh’s Boulevard City on Friday evening following a historic record attendance, exceeding 200,000 visitors for the first time in the zone’s history.
Al Sheikh apologized to the public, citing the closure as a necessary measure to ensure service quality and visitor comfort.
This event coincided with the mid-year school vacation, providing Riyadh residents and visitors with a perfect opportunity to explore the attractions of the Riyadh Season.
The Riyadh Season, in its fourth edition themed “Big Time,” offers a range of entertainment options and global experiences.
It attracts visitors worldwide to Riyadh during the winter months each year, featuring thousands of concerts, exhibitions, and other unique entertainment events.
