Number of expats working in Oman drops by 13%

The number of expats living in Oman dropped significantly, local media reported.

There has been a 13 per cent drop in the percentage of expatriates working in the Sultanate during the month of March, data issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information showed.

Data issued by NCSI indicated a significant decrease in the number of expatriate workers in the government and private sectors of the Sultanate last March by about 218,000 expatriate workers or 13 percent.
