Dubai Metro Announces Operations To Resume at Rain-Affected Stations From May 28

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that Dubai Metro services will return to normal operations on May 28 at the four stations impacted by recent bad weather.

The Metro stations – ONPASSIVE, Equiti, Mashreq, and Energy – will resume their usual daily schedules once maintenance and safety tests have been completed to ensure passenger safety and efficiency.

“Dubai’s #RTA announced the Dubai Metro services would return to normalcy at stations impacted by the recent extreme weather condition, known as ‘Hadeer Storm’, as of May 28. ONPASSIVE, Equiti, mashreq, and Energy Metro Stations would resume normal operations upon completing all the maintenance and safety tests to ensure that the stations are ready to operate at the highest standards and efficiency,” RTA said via X.

The resumption of normal metro operations is being coordinated with Keolis and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, the companies responsible for operating and maintaining Dubai Metro.

Currently, over 150 replacement buses continue to provide direct services on three routes during metro hours between Business Bay Metro Station to On Passive, Mall of the Emirates, Mashreq, Equity, Dubai Internet City and Al Khail Metro Stations to ferry commuters.
