Oman: MOH halts distribution of particular face masks

The Ministry of Health issued a circular stopping the circulation of one of the types of face masks particularly the face masks with the registration number: SM 998734, indicating that it is contaminated with dust and impurities and does not meet the quality standards.

“The Ministry has called on everyone not to use and circulate the aforementioned product, and the need to inform the Control Department of Medical Devices and Products at the Ministry of Health in the event of the suspected presence of any medical products that do not meet the quality standards through the e-mail: med-device@moh.gov.om,” MOH added.
