American Express Middle East launches initiative to support Bahrain businesses
Earn BD2 when spending BD5 or more at small businesses.
American Express Middle East is launching its first ever Shop Small initiative in Bahrain this December to support local businesses at this vital time. Shop Small is designed to build partnerships and support the small business community.
From 8th December to 31st January, American Express Cardmembers will receive a BD 2 statement credit when they spend BD 5 or more at participating small businesses across Bahrain, up to 10 times. Small businesses across Bahrain which join the Shop Small initiative will also benefit from free marketing support, and local promotional campaigns.
American Express has a long history of championing local business and believes small businesses are at the core of every thriving neighbourhood.
The Shop Small concept originally started as Small Business Saturday® during the holiday season in the USA in 2010 to bring more holiday shopping to small businesses. Shop Small is now a larger, global movement that supports small businesses every day.
