Bahrain conducts inspection campaigns to crack down on illegal expats

Various violations related to ex-pat workers’ residency rules and Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) law have been recorded following an intensified inspection campaign carried out by authorities.

The violators will be deported after legal procedures are completed. The campaign was part of ongoing government efforts to develop the work environment by fighting practices that could risk the labour market’s competitiveness, justice, and flexibility.
