Bahrain Issues Guidelines for Eid Holidays

Various decisions were taken to ensure the safety and health of all during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays.

• Eid celebrations are to be limited to small family gatherings only, for those residing in the same household
• Social distancing guidelines must continue to be adhered to by avoiding Eid visits
• Eid greetings should be done virtually
• Eidiyas should be transferred electronically using bank and money transfer applications

This has been decided by HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on a remote meeting held on 21st May.
