Bahrain ranks 3rd for women in managerial positions, academic degrees

Bahrain ranks third on the World Competitiveness Yearbook 2022 issued by the Global Competitiveness Center of the Institute for Management Development (IMD) when it comes to women in managerial positions (46%) and women with academic degrees in the age group (25-64) (62%).

The book also has many indicators of women’s competitiveness and gender balance, including the percentage of Bahraini women in parliament and boards of directors and gender parity in access to financial services and disposable income.

Bahrain is ranked among the top ten countries on 56 indicators.
