Bahrain: Vegetable imports to resume soon

The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism attributed the recent hike in prices of some vegetables to lack of production, unfavourable weather conditions and shipping constraints.

Imports of cucumber and other vegetables will resume soon, with the ministry taking corrective measures to ensure reasonable prices for all consumers.
