Dubai Police Seize Five Vehicles for Noise, Disturbance

Dubai Police has seized five vehicles for reportedly performing stunts causing noise and disturbance in Nad Al Sheba.

“Their reckless driving and loud vehicles not only caused nuisance but also endangered the lives of road users,” said Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police.

He urged the youth to drive safely and refrain from committing serious traffic offences. Parents of young drivers were also urged to monitor driving behaviour, confirming that traffic offences are punishable by impoundment and fines reaching up to AED50,000. 

The five vehicles were seized after midnight on Wednesday.

“The drivers were causing chaos, performing stunts, making noise, and disturbing residents in the Nad Al Sheba and Al Meydan Street areas. Their reckless driving and loud vehicles not only caused nuisance but also endangered the lives of road users,” Mazrouei said.

Al Mazrouei cautioned against creating chaos and disturbances on roads, emphasising that the law prescribes imprisonment, vehicle impoundment, and legal consequences for such actions. He affirmed Dubai Police’s unwavering commitment to deterring such behaviour.
