Dubai Ruler Sheikh Mohammed Orders AED 50 Million Humanitarian Aid for Palestine
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has directed humanitarian aid worth AED50 million ($13 million) to Palestine.
The aid, which will be disbursed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives relief foundation, aligns with the UAE’s commitment to offering immediate assistance to vulnerable communities during crises, WAM said.
In a separate development, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan directed $20 million in humanitarian aid to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East earlier this week.
