Kuwait: Hires 208 Pakistani healthcare workers

Kuwaiti Health Ministry has appointed 208 Pakistani nationals in October 2020 to help fight COVID-19, a local newspaper has reported.

The appointees, marking the first group of Pakistani medical teams, included 15 doctors, 152 nurses, and 41 technicians.

The ministry is finalising procedures related to the appointment of a second group of 196 Pakistani medics who arrived in Kuwait late last month.

Kuwait so far has registered 160,901 coronavirus cases and 952 related deaths.
