Multiple projects displayed at Cityscape Bahrain 2022

Prominent real estate projects worth millions of Bahraini dinars are on display at the first Cityscape Bahrain 2022 at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.

The three-day event was launched under the auspicious of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, and Prime Minister.

“We are greatly honoured to have His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, and Prime Minister to inaugurate the first Cityscape Bahrain 2022,” Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authority and President of Survey Land Registration Bureau Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa said.

“We are delighted with the number of exhibitors participating in this event. The exhibitors are participating in the event with 40 projects of which 17 of them are new. These projects are worth BD 893 million, while the 17 new projects are worth BD 193 million. So, we have some of the major projects that are being highlighted in this show and we are happy to have this huge event in Bahrain.”

Shaikh Salman added, “We are having a lot of people registering for this show and by this afternoon we want to see the footfall. We want to ensure that the exhibitors and the participants in this show can sell the projects that they have put on display.”

Founder and Chairwomen of Bahrain Entrepreneurship Organization (BEO), Feryal Abdullah Nass said that the BEO is participating in Cityscape 2022 and it is honoured to be part of this amazing expo for the first time in Bahrain.

“In our stand we have seven university students from Bahrain Polytechnic, University of Bahrain graduate students, who are specialised in architecture and engineering. These students are displaying their projects that are related to the real estate and development sector.”

Most of their work consists of proposals for different projects that can be for example, taking care of the developers and the investors to implement those projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Feryal added that most of the projects are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Among these are also creative and innovative projects.

“We also have five of our Bahrain entrepreneurship organization members who have business related to the real estate and industry sector. Like we have some design and architects’ offices; like a group of 23 architects, we also have a factory for solar power too,\\’ she said.

“We are expecting to link these entrepreneurs and start-ups who are working in this field, and they complement the real estate and development sector to work with those big developers to give them an opportunity to work with them.
