The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) announced yesterday that it has arranged a special flight, in cooperation with national carrier Gulf Air, to transport fans to Doha for this evening’s final against Japan.
The initiative comes under the directives of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority president and BOC chief His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The special flight is within the framework of HH Shaikh Khalid’s keenness to support the Kingdom’s senior men’s national handball team and to provide all the necessary conditions to boost the team’s mission to quality for next year’s Paris Olympics.
