Saudi: 477 violations reported against barbershops and beauty salons during Eid Al-Adha
The Jeddah Mayoralty has taken measures against 477 violations reported during Eid Al-Adha. 400 field tours were carried out to barbershops and beauty salons as part of the Mayoralty’s Ejada program within its Hajj season plan. Establishments were found in violation of general hygiene, maintenance, illegal cosmetics and materials, and the failure to wear head coverings, uniforms, and gloves.
Furthermore, the mayoralty seized around 1.5 tons of dates and vegetables being sold illegally within the Balad branch municipality, reports stated. The seizure comes as part of the municipality’s ongoing work in preventing the random sale of goods in urban areas, neighbourhoods, squares, and roads.
The mayoralty has urged citizens and residents to help in the efforts of improving services by reporting violations through the Baladi app or by calling 940.
