Anthony Joshua will fight Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in March.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Advisor Turki Al AL-Sheikh said “Knockout Chaos,” a match between two-time world heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua and mixed martial arts champion Francis Ngannou, will take place on March 8 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.

According to Al AL-Sheikh, this eagerly anticipated match is one of the key events of Riyadh Season; it is expected to attract international champions from a globally popular sport.

The winner of the match could face the victor of the Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk bout to contest an undisputed heavyweight championship fight later in 2024.

Should such a bout happen, Saudi Arabia will be in prime position to host the fight as it becomes central to the heavyweight boxing world.

The Knockout Chaos event in March will also feature an undercard, with China’s WBO interim world champion Zhang Zhilei defending his title against former champion Joseph Parker.

Mexican featherweight boxer Rey Vargas, the WBC champion, will also defend his title against Liverpool’s Nick Ball.
