Saudi Arabia intercepts Houthi drone above Abha airport, 12 injured

Saudi air defenses have intercepted a Houthi drone targeting Abha’s international airport, the Arab Coalition said.

At least 12 people of different nationalities were injured as a result of the attack Thursday afternoon.

Debris from the intercepted drone reportedly fell within the vicinity of the airport. Air traffic had returned to normal about an hour after the initial report of the drone attack, the coalition said.
