Saudi: Attempt to smuggle 2.3 million narcotic pills foiled

Saudi customs authorities have managed to thwart an attempt to smuggle more than 2.3 million fenethylline pills into the Kingdom.

The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) at Al-Haditha explained that during the inspection process, 2,302,325 banned pills were found hidden in a technical way into the cavity of a truck coming to the Kingdom through Haditha port.

The Authority has called on everyone to contribute to combating smuggling and protecting the society and national economy by contacting its designated number for security reports, e-mail, or by the international number.
