Saudi: Only fully vaccinated can enter places, use public transportation from Aug 1

The Ministry of Interior announced that it shall be mandatory, starting from today, Sunday, August 1, to allow only those who are fully vaccinated by a vaccine approved by the Ministry of Health to enter all places in all regions of the Kingdom.

The Ministry of Interior, on Twitter and Snapchat, stressed the application of the mandatory vaccination to protect the public health from COVID-19, allowing only fully vaccinated citizens and residents to enter all places, activities, events, government and private facilities, or use public transportation, across the Kingdom’s regions.

The Ministry also called on everyone to adhere to the precautionary and preventive measures and fully comply with the health requirements, such as social distancing, wearing a mask and hand washing.
