Saudi: Riyadh Metro project nearing completion

Saudi Arabia announced the completion of the construction and civil works of the Riyadh Metro project while the overall completion of the project has reached 92 percent.

The remarks were made after making an inspection tour of one of the trains that are on a trial run. Riyadh Metro took delivery of more than 180 trains and they are on the trial run. The experimental operation of the trains has reached advanced stages, during which the trains had crossed about 2 million kilometres on all tracks.
