Saudi: The ONE: FURY vs. USYK signed for epic showdown in Riyadh Season

 Brace yourselves for the seismic clash that the sports world has eagerly awaited—the heavyweight unification bout between WBC and Lineal champion Tyson Fury and WBO/WBA/IBF champion Oleksandr Usyk is set to unfold in a historic showdown at the Kingdom Arena during Riyadh Season.

This titanic battle will determine the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999, promising fans a spectacle of unparalleled magnitude. The General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia will present this colossal event, and additional details, including the official fight date, will be revealed in due course. The promotion for the fight will be led by Queensberry, Top Rank, K2, and Usyk17.

Turki Al-Alshikh, Chairman of The General Entertainment Authority and Head of Riyadh Season, expressed excitement, saying, “This is the fight that everyone has wanted to see for some time, and now it is finally happening—the world’s two heavyweight champions going into the ring against one another.”

Frank Warren of Queensberry Promotions, a Hall of Fame Promoter, echoed the sentiment, stating, “This is the biggest fight that could possibly be made in our sport. The heavyweights always spark the imagination of the fans, and I have no doubt this will be the biggest boxing event of the century.”

Top Rank chairman Bob Arum emphasized the exceptional talents of Fury and Usyk, calling them “the two greatest heavyweights of their generation.” He thanked Turki Alalshikh and everyone involved for making this legendary night a reality.

Alex Krassyk of K2 expressed admiration for being part of the “biggest heavyweight fight of the century,” extending gratitude to Saudi Arabia and Turki Al-Sheikh. Spencer Brown, Manager of Tyson Fury, expressed delight at the chance for Fury to become the first Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion of the four-belt era.

Fury, with a record of 33-0-1 and 24 KOs, has been the lineal champion since 2015. Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs), a 2012 Olympic gold medalist, unified the cruiserweight title before moving up to the heavyweight division. The clash promises to be a historic moment in boxing, unfolding in Riyadh during the iconic Riyadh Season celebrations.
