Saudi to Host Spanish Super Cup 2024, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico and Osasuna Fixtures

Saudi Arabia is set to host the 2024 Spanish Super Cup in Riyadh.

The Spanish football competition will see Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico and Osasuna face off for the title in three matches at the Al Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh.

Matches are scheduled between January 10 and 14, 2024.

The order of games and kick-off times for the semi-finals and the final have been set with a total of three big games to be played in Riyadh.

The three matches that will decide the champion of the Spanish Super Cup 2024 have been scheduled.

The tournament kicks off in Riyadh with:

  • Real Madrid v Atlético de Madrid, at 8pm Spanish time (10pm in Saudi Arabia) on Wednesday, January 10.
  • Barcelona v Atlético Osasuna, 8pm Spanish time (10pm in Saudi Arabia) on Thursday, January 11.

The winners of both matches will face each other in the final, again at on Sunday, January 4.

All matches will take place at Al-Awwal Park Stadium in the Saudi capital, as well as all of them being broadcast live in Spain by Movistar.

Like in previous editions, the tournament is expected to generate great interest around the world and can be watched on different platforms in dozens of countries. It is worth noting, for example, that the previous edition, in 2023, was broadcast free-to-air for the first time in history in the United States.

FC Barcelona will arrive at the 2024 Super Cup as reigning champions, and in their semi-final will face a Club Atlético Osasuna side that booked their ticket to Riyadh as runners-up in the Copa del Rey.

Los Rojillos lost the final to Real Madrid, who will be looking for their place in the decisive match of this Super Cup in a Madrid derby against Atlético, who are playing in the tournament as third-placed side in the 2022-23 Primera División National Championship.
