Study: Delay in 2nd Pfizer Covid jab improves immune response

Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine generates antibody responses three-and-a-half times larger in older people when a second dose is delayed to 12 weeks after the first, a British study said.

The study, which has not yet been peer-reviewed, is the first to directly compare immune responses of the Pfizer shot from the three-week dosing interval tested in clinical trials, and the extended 12-week interval that British officials recommend.
