Saudi Arabia recorded four new COVID-19 related deaths on Thursday, raising the total number of fatalities to 6,379. The Ministry of Health confirmed 255 new confirmed cases reported in the Kingdom in the previous 24 hours, meaning 368,329 people have now contracted the disease. Of the total number of cases, 2,111 remain active and 371 in critical condition.

Kuwait confirmed 742 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases over the past 24 hours, bringing the total caseload to 131,205 so far. The Health Ministry Official Spokesman Dr. Abdulla Al-Sanad said that four infected people had succumbed to the disease, which takes the death toll to 808. There are 114 people currently receiving intensive care for the virus out of a total 8,508 patients being hospitalized. The ministry has conducted 5,278 swab tests in the last 24 hours, out of a total of 960,725 so far. The ministry earlier said that 626 infected people have recovered from the virus, upping the total number of those to have overcome the disease to 121,889.
