UAE: Arab visitor jailed for forging passport
An Arab visitor has been referred to the criminal court for forging a passport and stamps to travel.
An airport officer noted that the visitor’s European passport was forged, and immediately informed authorities about the incident.
The defendant confessed to obtaining the forged passport from an Asian country in an attempt to travel around the world without being questioned.
He was arrested and prosecuted on forgery charges.
