The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) approved the UAE Football Association (UAEFA) to host the centralised Group A matches of the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023.
The seven remaining matches in Group A, which include leaders Syria, China, the Philippines, Maldives and Guam, will be held at the Sharjah Club’s stadium.
In addition, more than 14 national teams’ camps and international friendly matches will be hosted in preparations for the World Cup Qualifiers.
